Today in math we learned to estimate hours, miles, and days and minutes. We read a book about striking it rich. We practiced famous Texan paragraphs for our living museum on Thursday. Finally, we had station in science called water droplet journey where we had to move around the room every time we rolled a dice from river to clouds to lake and things like that.

Today in math we learned how to estimate days, miles, hours, and minutes. In reading we learned about and read a new book called Striking It Rich. In writing we are doing a writing prompt of meeting a historical person from the past. Last, but not least, science we pretended we were water droplets our task was called water droplet journey.

The book we read was called Striking it Rich. It was about the California Gold Rush and a man who tried to find gold in the hills. He tested the rocks he saw to see if they were made out of gold. Everyone started to hear about the gold being found and moved over to California so they could find gold and get rich too. It was a good book.
